Tony Pritchard, Physiotherapist - Post Arthroplasty Review (PAR) Clinic
Tony is an experienced local physiotherapist who works alongside us in the PAR clinic. His reviews of patients after joint replacements are extremely thorough, and provide an assessment of the outcome of the surgery that is objective, independent of the surgeon and supported by best practice guidelines.
Patients are reviewed at the PAR clinic at the following key stages: 3 months, 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, and see Tony and a surgeon. Patients can be confident that their joint replacement is being carefully monitored for long-term survival and function. |
Dr Campbell McKellar, Surgical Assistant
At St John of God Hospital, Warrnambool, Mr Sutherland is joined by Dr Campbell McKellar. Campbell is a local GP, and also works as a surgical assistant. He has a strong sports and orthopaedic interest, and is pictured here captured on TV during a half marathon.
Having the support of Campbell is very beneficial for the smooth running of operating lists (and is a role filled by trainee surgeons at South West Healthcare). Depending upon your health fund and cover, you may receive a bill for the assistant fee from Dr McKellar. |
